Systems Thinking for Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals

The South Africa System Dynamics Chapter (SASDC) aims to promote the interchange of learning, research and real-world application of systems thinking and system dynamics approaches in understanding and managing complex real world problems facing South Africa and Africa as a whole. The SASDC, in collaboration with Stellenbosch University, is hosting the 7th Annual System Dynamics Conference in South Africa (7ASDC) to create a networking platform for systems thinkers and system dynamics modellers to present novel work which contributes to systems thinking and system dynamics theory, methodology or empirics. Papers should contribute to the conference theme of Systems Thinking for Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, and can address the following topics:
Public Health — Humanitarian Dynamics — Education — Organisation Dynamics — Transport and Mobility– Natural Resource Management — Urbanisation — Transformative Technology — Finance — Governance Transitions
Papers must not be under submission elsewhere and will be included in accredited proceedings, which will be electronically available to all SASDC members.
