On the 16th-17th November, we hosted the 11th South African system dynamics conference!
•This year, our hybrid participation option was introduced and a strong preference was observed for online participation, a clear indication that our way of working as streamlined and people want to optimize on costs. Our past conferences have proved that no matter what the new world of work now looks like, our community of systems thinkers and system dynamicists have used the opportunity to network, showcase excellent research in their respective areas, and harness experiential and tacit knowledge within the modelling community. A diverse range of topics was covered from the circular economy, and AI to operational engineering based problems and health dynamics.
