Our journey through system dynamics has highlighted the intricate balance within predator-prey relationships, and it was fascinating to see the diverse approaches and insights everyone brought to the table. Special thanks to Faridatus, Rudri, Trent, Max, Christopher, Asma, and Jurgen for their notable presentations and contributions, which added significant value to our collective learning experience. Asma’s presentation was especially enjoyed by everyone – exploring multiple policy implementations in an interesting and clear story structure. Our ecological systems are precious, life-giving yet also dependent on the way we perceive and steward them. I hope the process of modeling some of the basics behind them showed how important it is for us to foster understanding and appreciation for the complexity in nature.
We also extend our gratitude to iSee Systems for their continued support with both the workshop software and prize sponsorships, enabling us to explore and expand our understanding with the best tools available. Please mark your calendars for the next session, hydrological systems, which will take place from September 10th to 24th, 2024. We look forward to continuing this learning journey with all of you.
